O SOMONTANO Development of the Organic Wine Red wine Gourmet Reserves 2014 Villa D Orta: manual Harvest for Moristel and Cabernet Sauvignon; mechanical for Merlot and Tempranillo. The clusters are worn out. The fermentation takes place over a period of about 15 days at 18 C during the first 3 days, then at 23 C for one week and ends at 29 C during the last week. 4 infusions daily with supply of oxygen to allow complete fermentation. Once the wine is finished, place it in barrels of French oak for a year, with a proportion of 30% of new barrels. Tasting of the Organic Wine Red wine Gourmet Reserves 2014 Villa D’orta intense ruby red Color, with a garnet in a thin layer. On the nose, interesting combination of black fruit very ripe (blackberries, blueberries and figs) along with aromas of spice and toast from a wood very new. In the mouth, the wine is well-structured but well-balanced, without sharp edges. The tannin has the nerve, although it is presented nice and silky. In retro-nasal return of the memories of the aromas of spice and toasted wood. It is a wine very tasty and with a long aftertaste.

Wine intoxicating of Spain, this BOOK reveals a powerful nose of red fruits combined with spices such as pepper and nutmeg. Violet color, slightly full-bodied and well-structured from beginning to end with a final persistent: a wine made from our best grapes. Aged for a minimum of 4 years, including 24 months in French oak barrels (at least 30% of the barrels are new) and traded in the fifth year; an exceptional wine of guard … Ideal with red meats, pasta with tomato sauce, sausages and cheeses. Pour into a decanter to oxygenate the wine. Serve at 18 C.

Wines are honest, rich and organic. Bodega Villa D’orta, is a small winery that is located in the village’s kitchen Garden, Vera, in the province of Huesca, under the denomination of Origin Somontano. The company headquarters is located in Barbastro, a city of some 18,000 inhabitants at the foot of the Pyrenees, from here the name of the appellation of origin of the wines produced there: D. SOMONTANO (under mountains). Bodega Villa d’orta has owned more than 50 hectares of vineyards certified organic. The parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo were planted between the años1999 and 2000 in Laluenga and Barbuñales, two towns situated about fifteen kilometres from Barbastro. Bodega Villa d’orta, specializes in the production of high quality grapes (the grapes of Barbuñales are reputed to be among the best in the region), and in the marketing of wines and organic grapes for wine-making.
