The people who form the winery Pagos del Moncayo feel a great pride for the hundreds of years of tradition that the cultivation of Grenache has been present in Campo de Borja.

Each and every one of the processes of viticulture and vinification of Prado wines is done by hand to maximize the expressiveness and final personality of wines that transmit the authentic personality of their “terroir”.
The recovery of the traditional processing process has put this family winery in the international spotlight, which has become the European reference point for sustainable production.
A well-deserved recognition given to him by the project of the European Commission Eco-Prowine and whose eco-label is marked by grassland wines showing that their carbon footprint is well below the European average.
Eco-labelling Eco-Prowine is the ultimate proof of how sustainable our Prado wines are.

Despite being a relatively young winery, in Pagos del Moncayo, we work with Family Vineyards over 80 years old that the Aibar have cared for with minimal generation after generation. In addition, the surname Aibar gives its name to some of the best winemakers in Spain.

In addition to the Grenache, the Syrah variety joins the autochthonous grape from Campo de Borja creating a perfect balance.
The vineyards of La Corona, La Loma, Los Blanquizales and La Marga mark the beginning of an entire artisanal process that results in the wines of Meadows.

D. O. CAMPO DE BORJA: Bodega Payment of the Moncayo is located at the foot of the Sierra del Moncayo, in the heart of the mountain chain that crosses Aragon.

Vineyards: 7 ha (17 acres) of family vineyard of Garnacha and Syrah located between 300 and 700 meters high (1200-2300 feet). In spite of being a foreign Variety, the Syrah perfectly adapts the atmospheric conditions of Campo de Borja becoming the best companion of the autochthonous Garnacha.
