Sebasti\u00e1n Belenguer Sanz opens the doors of his bakery in the Plaza de Los Arcos in 1918 and then moves to Calle Bar\u00f3n de La Linde. My grandfather Sebastian was a great entrepreneur, ahead of his time and demand. He was one of the main engines of dulce innovation in Zaragoza, introducing real works of sugar art, managing to move his passion for sweet to the time, which was a real achievement given the social, political and economic circumstances of the moment. At the age of 16 he moved to Zaragoza and at the age of 22 he was head of obrador of one of the best pastry shops in Zaragoza &#034;Casa Sauras&#034; which was then called &#034;La Yolanda&#034; in the Coso zaragozano. His most traditional confectionery work was: frosted Peladillas. Garrapi\u00f1adas almonds. Latte pills. Candied fruits of all kinds. Dulce de membrillo. Almendrada. Pan. Puffbread and marzipan. All kinds of candy. Cappuccino. Punch new year. Cake imperial. Chocolates. Turrones (alicante, guirlache, marzipanes). Famous ear cakes...\nBelenguer pastry shop is one of the oldest pastry shops in Spain, run by the same family that founded it. There are four generations of pie-makers, the business went through periods of prosperity and others marked by historical events (Wars, postwar periods, years of crisis...), overcoming all difficulties to follow.\n\nWhen Sebastian died, Gonzalo his son took over the business with his mother Pascuala, years later and with the great help of his wife Carmen began the expansion of the company while taking care of his four daughters, today I with my husband continue to maintain it with the best possible dedication, in honor of my grandparents and my parents, those who left us a very high bar for the sacrifice and the struggle that brought them to carry it out without undermining the artisan quality that continues to be maintained today thanks to them and the staff who have spent so many years in the workers, and that they have also been teaching those who have been relieving them, as is currently the new incorporation of my son Gonzalo. Our goal is to provide excellent service, offering the best quality in our products, with the best selected raw materials and preserving traditional values in each of our recipes while continuing to innovate and invest in new proposals.\n\nAt Belenguer Bakery we are a group of people dedicated with enthusiasm to the development of an artisanal, select and original pastry shop. Four generations. And nearly a hundred years of hard work, without neglecting the innovative spirit, guarantee the exquisiteness of our products, due to their delicacy and exclusivity. Today we work the whole team with the same enthusiasm, enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the first day, sharing all the same objectives: to enjoy our work and continue leaving the pavilion as high as the first day. My father is without a doubt our greatest reference every day and we do not cease our efforts to continue learning and developing new recipes, products, formats and finishes for all our customers in the different moments of consumption of our artisanal sweets. And all this maintaining our style, spirit, craftsmanship and, above all, being faithful to our philosophy for almost 100 years.\nAlways in our pastry shop the most important thing is the quality of our products and offer a personalized and very careful treatment to our customers. To do this we work with the best suppliers and the best raw materials on the market and that our customers know and value. Our products are crafted in our worker, following our traditional recipes since 1918 so that our customers enjoy our natural sweets. Another of our maxims is to combine our traditional and emblematic handcrafted products with the most modern and current ones today, the range of products has been extended to pastry and other confectionery products today our offer is to try to satisfy all the palates along with a modern range of mousses semi-confections and all kinds of chocolates and chocolates.\n\nAmong our most popular products are tea pastas with turrones and guirlaches, controlling the entire manufacturing process.
