Bodegas Estada
Bodegas Estada is the result of many years of experience in the production and cultivation of vines in Somontano and the Union of the feelings of several people towards a land that always wants to offer the best.
Thus, in 2005, the winery was created that takes the name of the Villa de Estada, located next to the confluence of the Rivers Ésera and Cinca and with spectacular views over the Somontano and the impressive Aragonese Pyrenees.
Bodegas Estada is located in the town of Castillazuelo, in the heart of the D. O. Somontano.

Storage facilities
The winery is built underground with an architectural design that combines maximum respect for the environment – it does not disturb the surrounding landscape – and takes advantage of all the technical conditions of nature to favor the production of the best wines.
In the installations we do not exceed 20 ° C naturally due to the characteristics of the construction, having in the exterior temperatures greater than 40 ° C and in the winter we do not fall of 15 ° C having in the exterior temperatures lower than-10 ° C.
It occupies an area of 2,000 m2 distributed in: a reception Area, Ship drawing, Ship Barrels (200 French and American oak), Ship rack, and other areas – expedition and warehouse.
The tanks have a hybrid shape (conical and cylindrical) with the aim of favoring the innovative remonting that we have by means of Obi deposits with which we do not exceed 28 ° C in fermentation. Their capacity is 20,000 liters.
 
 
Grape and Vintage

In Bodegas Estada we care and pamper the vines all year round. We know from experience that only by working carefully the vineyard and the land can we obtain the best grapes.
Our 38 hectares of own vineyard allow us to select together with the winemaker the best fruits of each variety of the different plots.
The harvest is done at night, so the grapes are cooler and we can control the fermentation process much better. The time from harvesting the grapes to reach the cellar is very short. The fruits do not suffer any decline or deterioration in transport.
In our 12 plots spread over the area of Castillazuelo we grow the varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Garnacha and Chardonnay.
