In its origins, its founder, Pedro Benítez Barroso, was in charge of buying from nearby farmers their crops of Andalusian garbanzo. With the traditional elements of that time, mainly by hand, the bulk legumes that were distributed among the traditional shopkeepers and shops in the area were selected and marketed.
Already in the 1980s, legumes Don Pedro BIO had become the reference company in the legume sector in Andalusia.
In the 90s, the company expands the assortment of vegetables that are presented in various formats, more adapted to the new shopping cart powered by the free service.
