D. Santiago Ruiz was a faithful defender of autoctona grapes and one of the pioneers of Rías Baixas wines.

The history of this winery dates back to the year 1870, when the ancestors founded a small winery in a building of the SEVENTEENTH century.

In the quest for the perfection and quality of their wines they founded in 2007 the new winery, combining with wisdom the old traditions with the latest advances.

Located in an idyllic spot, marked by stillness and surrounded by old vines that are more traditional in style, the winery is located in an unmistakably Galician and leafy environment, adorned with old houses, orange trees and flowers.

Cellar… Located in a 17th century building, Santiago Ruiz has been able to perfectly combine the tradition preserved over several generations with the latest advances in technology.

In the search for perfection and to further shore up the quality of our wines, in 2007 we built a new winery on foot of our vineyard in Tomiño equipped with the most advanced technology.
