Bodega Villa d'orta, SL is a small winery located in the village Huerta del Vera, in the province of Huesca, under the designation of Origin Somontano.
The headquarters of the company is located in Barbastro, a city with about 18,000 inhabitants at the foot of the Pyrenees, hence the name of the denomination of origin of the wines produced there:
D. SOMONTANO (under mountains).

Bodega Villa d'orta has owned more than 50 hectares of vineyards certified organic.
The plots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo were planted between 1999 and 2000 in Laluenga and Barbuñales, two villages located about fifteen kilometres from Barbastro.

Bodega Villa d'orta specializes in the production of high quality grapes (the Barbuñales grapes are famous for being among the best in the region), and in the marketing of organic wines and grapes for winemaking.
Our wines are mainly made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and bottled in Huerta de Vero, a small village in Somontano a few kilometres from the medieval town of Alquézar.
