Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha is the creation of more bold in the new phase of the winery.

The grapes Garnachas of this exceptional wine come from vineyards of Garnacha old clinging to rough terrain located in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain .

A down performance, less than four and a half tons of grapes per hectare, gives us a wine with a colour very deep, rich and aromatic with a great concentration of flavors, dwell, strawberries and tones of leather, vanilla and plums.

Characteristics of the vineyard: Vineyards of mount 35 to 60 years of age located at 600-700 m altitude, with clay-limestone soils, stony and silty.

Elaboration: Maceration during 20-25 days in total.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 25º-30º C.

The wine is subjected to aging for 5 months in casks bordeaux new French oak.

tasting Notes : Color: Cherry cherry very intense with purple tones.

On the nose : it shows a great concentration of aromas of mature red fruits with floral nuances.

In the mouth: it is a wine that is rich and well structured that evokes flavors of blackberry, plum and tones of leather and vanilla, with a tannin, sweet and silky.

The Grenache is making a resurgence throughout the world, thanks to its fruit, soft tannins and a pleasant final taste in the mouth, this makes it a perfect variety for pairing with food.
The Grenache is originally from Aragón, where Borja is located. Its development in Europe is due to the expansion of the kingdom of Aragon, which extended the Grenache in the NINETEENTH century in the valley of the Rhone, Italy and Sardinia.

Today, the Grenache is the variety of grapes most planted in the world. Other names for Grenache are: Aragones, Alicante, Cannonau, Garnaccho Negro, Garnacha Negra, Grenache Red, Garnacha, Tinta, Grenache, Tintilla, Toledo, Uva di Spagna.

During the 80’s and 90’s, Grenache was heavily despised in Spain. However, this has been very well preserved in Aragón, where we are pioneers in single varietal garnacha helping this variety has become popular among consumers.
