The vintage began on the 16th of August in our vineyards of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Chardonnay, that we did not want to give more days to preserve its acidity.

In the second decade of September, the same Cabernet Sauvignon and Macabeo to finish off the vintage cabando the month with the native varieties and planted at higher altitudes: Garnacha Blanca, Garnacha Tinta, Moristel and Parraleta.

The strains of Garnacha from the valley of Secastilla, formed in glass, is gathered manually at the end of September.
At the foot of the vineyard, we carry out the destemming, vatting and cooling of the grape, for, later, make a pre-fermentation maceration which lasted for three days.
The fermentation is developed at a temperature less than 25ºC, and the resulting wine is introduced in new barrels of French oak for a minimum of ten months.
Finally, the wine was bottled in may of 2012.

The payments of the valley of Secastilla are located in the extreme northeast of Somontano and meet a special mediterranean microclimate.
On the rocky slopes above 700 meters above sea level, we have recovered the vineyards of very old Garnacha, traditional variety of the valley of Secastilla.
The relative altitude, and its special orientation, make it an area with many hours of sunshine, which favors the ripening of the fruit.
