Our people of Payments of the Moncayo feels a great pride for the hundreds of years of tradition which the cultivation of the Garnacha grape has been present in Campo de Borja.

The family Aibar, with its 7 hectares of grenache and shyra, it takes time to be recognized by the single varieties, which each year puts on the market.

An extraordinary event awaited by the lovers of good wine.

With the aim to combine tradition and technique, from the beginning we opted for a mode of craft production.

All the work in the vineyard, from pruning until the harvest is completely manual, which makes our wines of PdM Moncayo preserve the purest flavor of this land.

Payments of the Moncayo mountain is the result of an illusion to family, to transmit through our wines all the passion and experience the fruit of the centuries of tradition in the cultivation of the garnachas in the land of Campo de Borja.
Thanks to the efforts and tenacity of many years and the invaluable help of a group of friends, today, this illusion is reality.

each and every one of the processes of viticulture and vinification of the wines of Prados is done by hand to maximize the expressiveness and personality end of a few wines that convey the genuine personality of its “terroir”.

The recovery of the traditional development process has put the international spotlight on this family-owned winery that has become the european model of development sustainable.

A well-deserved recognition granted by the european commission project Eco-Prowine and whose eco-label look of the wine of Prados by demonstrating that their carbon footprint is well below the european average.

The eco-labelling Eco-Prowine is the ultimate test of how sustainable are our wines Prados.

despite being a winery, a relatively young man, in Payment of the Moncayo are working with family-owned vineyards over 80 years that the Aibar has been taken care of with care, generation after generation.

in Addition, the last Aibar gives a name to some of the best winemakers in Spain.

in Addition to the Grenache, the Syrah grapes binds to the autochthonous grape of Campo de Borja creating a perfect balance.

The vineyards of The Crown, The Hill, Los Blanquizales and The Marl mark the beginning of a whole artisanal process that gives as a result the wines of Prados.

D. O. CAMPO DE BORJA: Bodega Payment of the Moncayo is located at the foot of the Sierra del Moncayo, in the heart of the mountain chain that crosses Aragon.

Vineyards: 7 ha (17 acres) of vineyard family of Grenache and Syrah located between 300 and 700 metres of height (1200-2300 feet).

although a variety of state, Syrah adapts perfectly to the atmospheric conditions of the Campo de Borja becoming the best companion of the autochthonous Garnacha.

CO-PROWINE . Wines sustainable

In 2013, we took a step forward, entering to form part of the Eco-European project ECO-PROWINE as a wine cellar pilot.

As part of the project, we implemented the tool of Life Cycle Analysis, by acting on each of the phases of the cycle of our wines.

This ECO-LABEL certifies that the emission levels from our warehouse are well below the european average.

ECO-PROWINE is the test of our respect for the environment.
