LAN-to-Hand 2012 Rioja , a luxury artisan,where the selection of the strains is carried to the extreme.
Our wine more bold and forceful, selected patiently by skilled hands , from the payment “el Rincon”, located on the farm Viña Lanciano.
VARIETIES:
80% Tempranillo, 8% Mazuelo and 12% Graciano, the result of a selection of strains of more than 35 – 40 years from the payment “The Corner” located on our estate “Viña Lanciano”.
Harvested manually and then chosen in the selection tables by cluster and by grain, so that only those who are in good health are able to go on to the next phase in the development.
PREPARATION:
malolactic fermentation was in new French oak barrels and was completed in the spring of the following year. During the period between alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation, we stir the lees weekly in order to achieve a greater volume in the mouth, making the wine silky and gentle.
PARENTING:
For 7 months in French oak barrels, followed by 6 months in new oak of the Caucasus.
Wine without clarification and unfiltered, because these processes occur naturally, over time, by settling and decanting natural in the barrel.
TASTING NOTES:
garnet Color, very cloudy and bright. Aromas of ripe fruit: plum, blackberry and currant. Balsamic notes. It has a touch of clove, cinnamon, coffee, dark chocolate and tobacco, as well as touches of minerals, whose feature is common to all wines from our estate “Viña Lanciano”. In the mouth it is very structured, powerful, fleshy, with large volume, which leaves us with a pleasant and long memory.
it Is a wine of great personality, a true reflection of the terroir from which it comes.
ACCOMPANIES:
Carpaccio of beef, roasted red meats and grilled. Excellent for a long table.
Serve between 17º and 19º C.
