ADD 2008 The year 2008 has been a difficult year in relation to the rains, began with a winter very dry, followed up with a spring, very rainy and ended with a dry summer. This implied a great risk of fungi which, in our plots we control it without any problem for our grapes. The budding was developed normally in the vineyards. The two periods of drought in summer and in winter made the plant autorregulara quite a lot in terms of your production leading to a reduction of harvest. Anyway the grapes at harvest presenting a sanitary condition and maturation optimal. The reduction in production and a smaller size of the grape berries, I think a higher percentage of skin on the pulp and therefore a greater concentration of properties that were suitable for the production of the wine, joined to the technical control of the viticulture , determining factors in producing a harvest of quality. the VINEYARDS The grapes for this wine come from all our farms. The soils are varied, having in common a good drainage and are poor soils, which allows us to cultivate grapes very healthy and with low yields.
